Thursday night football, Cowboys-Cardinals: Hall of Fame game time, TV schedule and more

The 2017 NFL Hall of Fame game will take place on Thursday this year, not Sunday like it usually is with the Dallas Cowboys taking on the Arizona Cardinals. The HOF game is already a week earlier than any other preseason game so this makes it even earlier. The result is not a very pretty game. Last year’s game was canceled and already Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said he won’t play his starters in this game. Don’t expect a good looking football game.

However, it still is football. And I like football. I’ll watch some of this game but not all of it. It’s too much of a tease for me to watch the whole thing. As much as I try I can only get so excited about non-Chiefs preseason games. The Chiefs play the Cowboys this year (Week 9) so there is some scouting to be done here.

Anyway, the game is tonight on NBC at 8 p.m. ET. It’s being played in Canton, Ohio ahead of the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday.
