Welcome to game day! The KC Chiefs have arrived in Seattle to play the Seahawks on Friday night at 7 p.m. (Arrowhead Time). You can view the game on KCTV-5 locally and listen to Mitch Holthus on 101.1 The Fox. You can find more information here on the TV schedule, streaming the game online, odds (yes, there are preseason odds and more.
The Chiefs will see Alex Smith and the starters play three quarters, or so Andy Reid says. I would bet on it being less than three quarters if they’re moving the ball well, which they’e done so far this preseason. Going against this first team Seattle defense will be a nice test for the Chiefs first team offense.
The Chiefs defense has looked really strong so it will be good to see them against one of the top quarterbacks in Russell Wilson. If they can contain him, I’ll feel pretty good about the Chiefs defense.
Patrick Mahomes is expected to come in after Alex Smith. I wonder if he comes in early enough to get some time with the first team offensive line like he did last week in the second preseason game against the Bengals.
