We highlighted a few of the Kansas City Chiefs players that were not playing in this Friday’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. The list of players who are playing is much cooler. Per Chiefs coach Andy Reid, Eric Berry and Chris Jones will make their preseason debuts this weekend against the Seahawks.

Reid said that the starters are expected to play three quarters on Friday night. As you have learned by now, that’s an estimate as it could be a few minutes longer or shorter depending on how they’re playing. After Alex Smith and the first team, it should be Patrick Mahomes to finish it off.
Jones was out since July with knee surgery while Berry has been out for a few weeks with a heel injury. It’s good to get both of them back and in an actual game. Berry especially probably doesn’t need preseason but getting some warmup can’t hurt (unless he gets, ya know, hurt).
Not to slight Roy Miller, the defensive lineman signed a few weeks ago. He could end up having a depth role on the Chiefs defensive line. This will be the first time seeing him in a game.
