The Kansas City Chiefs will be without a number of players in the all important third preseason game. Chiefs coach Andy Reid told the media on Wednesday that the following players will NOT play on Friday against Seattle:
Cairo Santos, Terrance Mitchell, Seantavious Jones, JR Nelson, & Parker Ehinger will not play this Friday for the #Chiefs per Andy Reid.

Sam Ficken should step in at kicker for Cairo Santos again. I’m hoping this won’t be a thing that affects his availability for the season opener.
I’m not surprised that G Parker Ehinger isn’t playing considering he just came off the PUP list this week. Additionally, CB Terrance Mitchell has been hurt for a while so no surprise he’s not participating. It’s getting close enough to the opener that I’m concerned about how long Mitchell has been out.
It’s too bad that WR Seantavius Jones won’t play. He has had a good offseason and some people are predicting that he makes the 53-man roster. When you’re on the bubble, missing a game isn’t ideal.
