Chiefs will get Tony Romo’s first game, could get Cowboys game too

The Kansas City Chiefs will get Tony Romo an an announcer at least once, maybe more this season. CBS announced their early broadcasting pairings and the Chiefs could get Romo twice:

The Chiefs will get Romo’s first game - the August 25 preseason game against the Seahawks. That would be the Chiefs all important (important? Preseason?) third preseason game.

The Chiefs could also get Romo’s first Cowboys game when the Chiefs visit Dallas November 5. Here’s what the Star-Telegram said about this game:

“Romo will not call a Dallas Cowboys game until Nov. 5 at the earliest when the Kansas City Chiefs visit AT&T Stadium. If CBS doesn’t put that as the top game, Romo’s debut on a Cowboys telecast will come on Thanksgiving when they take on the San Diego Chargers.”

Romo was spotted at the Hall of Fame game a few weeks ago practicing with his partner, Jim Nantz.
