Chris Jones says, “Allen Bailey the Hulk is back”

Chris Jones has the best personality. He is what Andy Reid would call an energy giver. He just returned to practice at camp after missing because of offseason knee surgery and I feel like I got some energy from him just watching his media session.

BJ Kissel said on Sunday that he saw Jones was waiting for Allen Bailey after Bailey burst through the line for a tackle behind the line of scrimmage in Friday’s preseason game against the 49ers.

“Oh, beast! Did you see that? Split the double team, make the TFL. I went up to him and said, ‘Allen Bailey the Hulk is back. The Hulk is back in business, baby.’ And Nacho out there pounding. I mean, it is going to be a lot of excitement, man. I love it. Those guys give me energy. That is the energy you need.”

BJ is right. This guy is a treasure. I can not wait until he’s back on the field. You thought Bailey was fun. Jones lives in the backfield.

As for the real news here, Jones says he doesn’t know when he will be fully back. He did practice but he hasn’t participated in a game. Considering how long he has been off, I would be surprised if he played in Saturday’s game against the Bengals.
