Patrick Mahomes is in the end zone. The Kansas City Chiefs QB took the reigns late in the second quarter and it took three drives for him to get into the end zone.
A blocked punt by Kevin Pierre-Louis set the Chiefs up at the 8-yard line. Mahomes missed one in the end zone but came back a couple plays later to find his man Marcus Kemp in the end zone. Is it the craziest or prettiest or most amazing play? Well, for me it is because I haven’t seen a Chiefs first round quarterback do this in my life...

Yeah, I kinda wished his first touchdown would be some 50-yard bomb but this works the same. Six points is six points! It was running to the right and throwing across his body which isn’t the easiest throw...
Mahomes clearly has stuff to work on. Alex Smith, in my mind, obviously had better control of the offense in this game. However, Mahomes has plenty of good things he’s doing. He belongs in the NFL. He looks the part.
I’m a believer after one touchdown.
