Chiefs will be without Bennie Logan in preseason opener vs. 49ers

The Kansas City Chiefs will be without a number of starters for tonight’s preseason opener against the San Francisco 49ers.

The notable injuries:

Berry has had a heel injury. The Chiefs don’t seem that concerned but he’s also missed a number of practices.

Kelce has knee swelling. Like Berry, he’s missed practice lately.

New Chief Bennie Logan won’t play which sucks. I wanted to see what he could do in the run game. His potential backup Roy Miller is also out.

Cairo Santos has been replaced by K Sam Ficken this week. Santos is dealing with a groin injury but the Chiefs said it wasn’t a long-term thing. He should be fine.

Here’s the list of who won’t play:

S Eric Berry

LB Dadi Nicolas

G Parker Ehinger

TE Travis Kelce

LB Tamba Hali

DE Chris Jones

NT Bennie Logan

NT Roy Miller

K Cairo Santos

CB Jacoby Glenn
