The Chiefs Tie Guy from the OJ Simpson hearing is making the rounds in Kansas City. You know who he is, the guy who wore a Chiefs tie to the OJ hearing on Thursday which caused the Chiefs to be trending for a while.
He has since done interviews with both sports radio stations in town and it looks like he spoke to Sam Mellinger at the Star, too. I was in a meeting so I freaked out for a second when I first noticed the Chiefs were trending, like what have I missed ... and then I saw the tie.
It took over my social media timelines for a little bit yesterday. Here are a few of the tweets:
he's still mad about this great game OJ had against the Chiefs in 1973 https://t.co/AWtmLT4lqO

They've got an actual parole board with a dude wearing a Kansas City Chiefs tie. We're supposed to trust their judgment? pic.twitter.com/imloDdWm8q

This whole thing is incredible.
seriously who gets up in the morning and thinks "I've gotta rule on OJ's parole today, a Chiefs tie seems like the most appropriate attire"

A parole board commissioner chose today to wear that Kansas City Chiefs tie, because life is an SNL episode pic.twitter.com/lNGkExm7bN

Strangest part of OJ parole hearing? No one in and around parole board thought a Chiefs tie was inappropriate. pic.twitter.com/IQF4vNzWdI
