The real story here is what the rest of this other press release says. Read this:
This Saturday, July 22, Georgia-Pacific’s Dixie Ultra® brand will take summer barbecue to new heights to showcase the strength of its new paper plates. Kansas City’s historic 18th and Vine will be the location for an extreme dining event – called “Raising the BBQ” – where acrobatic servers will cross 125 feet of a series of inclined tightropes while carrying two-pound meals of barbecue with all the fixings on Dixie Ultra® plates to serve hungry patrons at a restaurant suspended 40 feet above the ground – and we want you to join us!
What in the world? Tightropes? Barbecue? A 40-foot high restaurant?
Dixie has also partnered with Adam Richman, noted TV personality, food enthusiast and cookbook author, to emcee and host the “Raising the BBQ” event in Kansas City as it streams via Facebook Live, beginning at 1 p.m. ET on July 22. Locals are invited to attend this free event to watch the spectacle and win the chance to dine at the restaurant while enjoying hearty servings of delicious Kansas City barbecue from award-winning local restaurant Q39 on Dixie Ultra® plates. Kansas City Chiefs first round draft pick Patrick Mahomes will also be in attendance cheering on the servers and meeting with fans.
That’s this Saturday when Mahomes will attend this event it says. The Chiefs then report for training camp in St. Joe on Monday. So I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see Mahomes sign his rookie contract soon now that he’s in town.
