Looking back at drafting Patrick Mahomes, we should’ve seen Chiefs dysfunction coming

I re-watched the video of the Kansas City Chiefs drafting Patrick Mahomes and noticed a couple of things.

First, when the cameras cut to the Chiefs war room the first person they show John Dorsey shaking hands with is Brett Veach. At least I think that’s Brett Veach. Is that Brett Veach? Who really knows? Has anyone actually seen Brett Veach?

Also, we should’ve seen all this coming. Dorsey and Clark Hunt screwed up their handshake. Clark went in for the handshake while Dorsey went in for the fist bump and ...

...it resulted in a half bump/shake thing.

Clearly, we should’ve seen the dysfunction coming. They can’t even get the handshake down!
