Who wins the Chiefs-Chargers season series?

We continue on with our series looking at all of the Kansas City Chiefs opponents on their 2017 schedule. We’re onto the LA Chargers who face the Chiefs in Week 3 and Week 15.

SB Nation’s Chargers blog, Bolts From The Blue, provided us with some Chargers info below. The Chargers have been hyped a little bit by PFF who say the Chargers are better than you think. They have even picked the Chargers to finish ahead of the Chiefs this season. I can’t completely buy that but I do think the Chargers have the potential to be pretty good.

The Chiefs have beater the Chargers six consecutive games. There has been one blowout and one close game in each of the past three seasons. I would expect two close games in 2017. The Chargers offensive line could be better which could make a big difference there.

Thanks to Bolts From The Blue for the preview...

Biggest storyline heading into training camp

Aside from the obvious fact that the Chargers are playing in Carson instead of San Diego this year, the biggest storyline is that the offensive line will have new starters at as many as four of the five positions.

Under-the-radar storyline heading into training camp

It will be interesting to see how the defense which was actually pretty good last season does under new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley who will have them moving from a base 3-4 to base 4-3 defense.

Notable injuries heading into training camp

Somehow, there are not really any notable injuries for the Chargers heading into training camp (save some nagging issues for first round pick WR Mike Williams).
