Kansas City Chiefs have the third best safety duo in the NFL

We’ve talked all offseason about cornerback being one of the Kansas City Chiefs top needs. We’ll find out in the first few weeks of the season if that’s the case.

What we haven’t talked about is safety being one of the Chiefs top needs. That’s because the Chiefs are totally stacked at safety.

I’m a big Daniel Sorensen fan but he doesn’t even factor into this which puts the Chiefs third among the best safety duos in the NFL.

That’s quite impressive. Berry should be here because he was once the fifth overall pick. Turning into one of the game’s best safeties was predictable for him, even if optimistic. Berry was drafted a few spots before Earl Thomas back in 2010.

Parker, however, is an undrafted free agent. That he is here among the top safety duos is pretty wild. The Seahawks know how to groom ‘em like the Chiefs do because Parker came to the Chiefs after he was cut by Seattle.

We’ll see if the Chiefs cornerback questions are legit but there’s a reason there are no questions about the Chiefs safeties.
