The Kansas City Chiefs have their third player on the NFL’s top 100 list in Tyreek Hill, who was voted the 36th best player in the league by his peers (or whoever votes on this).
“I belong No. 1 over Tom Brady,” Tyreek said with a smile at the start of his segment. “Tom Brady I’m calling you out. I’m No. 1. Cheetah.”
Watching this, I forgot how many great highlights he had. His return against Oakland is probably my favorite play but what about the touchdowns against Denver or the rushing touchdown against Tennessee?
“It’s almost like Mike Vick in that 2004 Madden where you’re trying to run around with him the whole time but he don’t ever get tired,” Raiders punter Marquette King said.
Antonio Gates was on the bench during the game and they showed a few snippets of what he was saying: “Man, does he play running back or receiver, what does he play? ... They throwing it to him, end arounds, punts, he’s just doing everything ... That dude is dynamic, bro.”
What a season for Tyreek. From fifth round pick to No. 36 on the NFL’s top 100 list.
Here are all the Chiefs so far (last year’s rank):
32. Marcus Peters (65)
36. Tyreek Hill (n/a)
76. Justin Houston (26)
81. Alex Smith (81)
