Dorial Green-Beckham is a free agent, should the Chiefs take a look?

Dorial Green-Beckham is now available as he’s been cut by the Eagles.

This is interesting for a few reasons.

First, the Chiefs visited with him days before the 2015 NFL Draft. It seems that there had to be some sort of interest there back then.

Second, the Chiefs could have a need at receiver after cutting Jeremy Maclin. They may not depending on how you view it.

Third, Doug Pederson traded for him in Philly. Pederson worked under Reid. So that’s a connection, kinda, maybe?

I’d be interested in taking a flyer on him. 6’5 and 237 pounds catches my eye. Players don’t get big guaranteed contracts at this time of year so you wouldn’t have to worry about the money. Sure, bring him up to camp and see what he’s got. It seems unlikely he’s coming in and making a big impact, though.

The Chiefs may not even get a chance to look at him as he will be subject to waivers. The Browns should probably use their position to take a look at DGB.
