The Kansas City Chiefs made a few more roster moves this week by cutting WR Jamari Staples and S Devin Chappell and signing TE Orson Charles and S Damariay Drew.

Charles has been called a fullback / tight end before so I’m not sure how the Chiefs view him. I remember his name coming out of Georgia. He was a 2012 fourth round pick by the Bengals but this is his third team since 2014. Anybody getting signed in June will have a hard time making the roster. Eight of his nine career catches came way back in 2012. It will be an uphill climb but he does bring an interesting athletic profile.
Drew is a safety out of Cal. This story has a little bit of his backstory including that he worked out for the Chiefs before the draft this year.
The Chiefs cut Chappell who was injured earlier.
