Seven of the Kansas City Chiefs last eight roster moves involved a linebacker so make your surprised face when I tell you the Chiefs worked out another linebacker today. This is different because the Chiefs only worked out former Packers LB Jamari Lattimore. They didn’t sign him.

There is a Packers connection - Lattimore was a 2011 undrafted free agent for Green Bay where he lasted four seasons. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on the shortlist to be signed should there be an injury or the Chiefs take a longer look at one of their 14 linebackers already on the roster and decide to make a change. Lattimore has some special teams value so that could be part of the equation too.
