A little late but how I became a Chiefs fan

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

It started with my dad, we moved to KC from LA in 2003. That was the year the Chiefs went 13-3, they had that awesome offense with Trent Green (super underrated), Priest Holmes, Eddie Kennison, and Tony G. My dad got invited to go to a Chiefs game with his friend. The game he went to happened to be the day Dante Hall had his crazy punt return against the Broncos. After seeing that play the energy and passion of the Chiefs fans. He went out and got season tickets.

For the next 8 years I can only describe it as a dream. I went to so many Chiefs games. I saw the good times, the bad ones, and all the ones in between. Then in 2012 we packed up and moved to Boston. Selling those tickets was the hardest thing I have ever gone through. When I moved my love for the Chiefs only increased. To this day I never miss a game (shout out to sports bars with the NFL package you guys are heroes) and have traveled to see two of them. I love the Chiefs almost to a fault and I can not wait for next season, win lose or tie.
