The Kansas City Chiefs cut one outside linebacker and added another on Monday. Per the NFL’s transactions report, the Chiefs cut LB Victor Ochi to make room for LB Tourek Williams
Williams, 6’3 and 262 pounds, was a 2013 sixth round pick by San Diego. He played with the Chargers for four years missing one due to injury. He appeared in every game last season but has just two career sacks.
He’s a developmental guy. The Chiefs got a look at him a couple of times last year playing the Chargers. He’s obviously a long shot to make the roster with the Chiefs current outside linebacker situation but you never know.
