The NFL’s transaction wire brought word on Monday that the Chiefs have signed Williams to their 90-man roster. Linebacker Victor Ochi was waived in a corresponding move.

To make room for Williams, the Chiefs released outside linebacker Victor Ochi.

Just one was a Chiefs signing - DE Jaye Howard at two years, $10 million. Eh, Howard was hurt last year and he was a somewhat surprising cut this offseason. He wasn’t a bad signing in that fans were talking all season what a bad investment he was. In fact, most Chiefs fans wanted to keep him this year, I think.

The Chiefs, however, placed Greene on waivers on May 10 just hours after reported that he was indicted on the gun charge.
