Keep an eye on the Kansas City Chiefs for the Buffalo Bills GM job

The Kansas City Chiefs will continue to see the cost of success in their front office. After losing Chris Ballard to the Colts earlier this year, it’s being rumored that another Chiefs front office member could be a candidate for a GM job.

Brett Veach is the Chiefs co-director of player personnel. Several days ago former Eagles exec Joe Banner tweeted his name out regarding the vacant Bills GM job.

Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports threw it out there, too.

The Bills connection is their head coach Sean McDermott who worked under Andy Reid in Philly. Veach started off as an intern with the Eagles way back in 2004 then became Andy Reid’s assistant for a few years before entering the scouting department. He followed Reid to Kansas City in 2013 and has been working under John Dorsey ever since. It sounds like he’s been indoctrinated in the ways of Big Red. He could be a good hire for the Bills. Dorsey’s GM tree could grow by one branch.
