Tuesday’s NFL transactions list shows the Kansas City Chiefs cut one player and claimed another off of waivers. The Chiefs cut defensive back Jimmy Hall who was signed to the Chiefs practice squad last year. They claimed LB Reshard Cliett off of waivers after he was cut by the Titans.
Cliett was a 2015 sixth round pick by the Texans out of South Florida. He’s a smaller ‘backer at 6’2 and 222 pounds. He’s an NFL journeyman at this point with stints with the Broncos, Jets, Cardinals and Titans, too.
The Chiefs have a 90-man offseason roster so there will be a lot of players coming through from now until training camp. It will be tough to crack the Chiefs 53-man roster at this point but every year there’s a surprise or two.
