Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes unharmed after reportedly being robbed in Texas

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was unharmed after being robbed over the weekend, according to a report out of KLTV in Texas. The report states that on Friday night deputes met with four people who said they had been robbed by someone apparently gesturing to have a gun. One of the victims was Mahomes who, again, was unharmed.

As the victims were getting out of their vehicle, the suspect pulled into the driveway.

As the suspect approached the victims, he was seen gesturing as if he had a handgun in his waistband. The suspect then demanded property from the victims.

The suspect fled the location in his vehicle.

After deputies arrived and spoke with the victims they were able to locate the suspect's vehicle which was occupied by two males. A stop of the vehicle was performed near County Road 273 and Malisa Circle.

TMZ has more details on the story. A 34-year old and 58-year old were later taken into custody and the property taken was recovered, according to the report.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said he is doing OK.

Thankfully no one was hurt. Getting robbed at gunpoint sounds terrifying.
