With their fifth round pick the Kansas City Chiefs select LB Ukeme Eligwe out of Georgia Southern. He was a highly touted high school player who first went to Florida State but was dismissed for violating team rules and ended up at Georgia Southern.
Eligwe is an ILB. Has 33 inch arms. Ran a 4.58 40. Goes by the name "Marcus"

Highly-touted, four-star prospect out of high school, Eligwe passes the eyeball test with flying colors. He is a straight-line player who struggles to change direction in space and needs to keep plays in front of him. His lack of anticipation and instincts could cause teams to try him as a strong-side 4-3 linebacker rather than inside. He has the physical traits and potential that should land him on a practice squad with an outside shot of making a roster.
The Chiefs have one more pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
