Chiefs GM John Dorsey comes from Green Bay so it makes sense that the Chiefs and Packers would like the same type of players. We see it just about every year with pre-draft rumors of Chiefs and Packers liking the same guy.
I have another one Central Missouri QB Garrett Fugate. His agent previously worked with Trevor Siemian so guess who Fugate is getting compared to in the media ...
Under-the-radar QB who could be the next Trevor Siemian? Cen. Mizzou’s Garrett Fugate. Coming off an ACL, worked out for #Packers & #Chiefs

Siemian was a seventh round draft pick who ended up starting in Denver last year. It would be a stunner if Fugate turned out like that but he did work out for the Chiefs at their local pro day and has talked to a few teams. I don’t know if the Chiefs have genuine interest or if they simply worked him out because they could he’s considered local.
This reports says the Packers, Eagles, Chiefs and Raiders are all interested. That’s funny. Dorsey used to be with the Packers, Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie used to be with the Packers and Eagles head coach Doug Pederson used to be with Andy Reid. Lotta connections here.
I don’t know if Fugate will be drafted. If not, keep an eye on him as an undrafted free agent.
