Mitch Trubisky’s visit means Chiefs have met with every top QB in the 2017 NFL Draft

The Kansas City Chiefs saw a visit from North Carolina QB Mitch Trubisky last week which means the Chiefs have visited or worked out every one of the top quarterbacks and both in some situations (like Trubisky’s).

It’s almost a little odd we know so much about the Chiefs and how much they’re scouting quarterbacks. They have had all the top quarterbacks in for a visit to Kansas City. This is notable because they only have 30 such visits to their facility for prospects. Separately from these visits are actual workouts, which take place away from the Chiefs facility and don’t count against the 30 visits. They can work out as many players as they want but not in their own facility.

Know your draft crush: Deshaun Watson, Patrick Mahomes, Mitch Trubisky

Here’s a look at what we know, which is incomplete at this time. Just because it hasn’t been reported that the Chiefs worked a player out or visited with him doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. We just don’t know.

One of the names missing here? Davis Webb from Cal. He’s in the second round conversation (give or take a round). Maybe the news just hasn’t gotten out yet.
