The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the free agency game! They have signed free agent safety Marqueston Huff. The Chiefs officially announced the move already so it’s a done deal.

The Chiefs top three safeties are pretty set with Eric Berry, Ron Parker and Daniel Sorensen so it’s a tough deal to break into that barring injury.
Huff was a 2014 fourth round pick by the Titans and has also spent time with the Jaguars and Ravens. I don’t know much about him other than that his Combine numbers from three years ago look pretty solid. Here’s what his Combine profile says:
Fast, rangy, tough, loquacious defensive back who was pushed to play safety to fill a need in his senior season, and offers intriguing versatility on the back end. Projects ideally as a cornerback in the pros, where his explosiveness and physicality will appeal to a wide range of teams. Should contribute readily on special teams and has eventual starter potential.
