Chiefs still listed high on Tony Romo odds

I didn’t have a Tony Romo post for today and because I just loooove annoying you with Tony Romo posts I had to track one down. Bovada emailed me these odds regarding next year’s quarterbacks, specifically where Tony Romo, Jimmy Garoppolo, Jay Cutler and Tyrod Taylor will play next year.

I’m a little surprised to see the Chiefs still listed so high on Romo. Clearly, not everyone believes the Chiefs are all in on Alex Smith. There’s apparently just enough wiggle room that the Chiefs are the team with the second highest odds here.

I hate to say it but I think Denver makes a lot of sense for Romo. They don’t already have an $18 million quarterback like the Texans and Chiefs do. They have a first round pick behind him so there is some sort of future there. They have a great defense. It makes a lot of sense. Of course, I hope he doesn’t go there.

Finally, at the bottom, note the Rob Gronkowski odds. That’s why Travis Kelce is the best tight end in the NFL right now ... because Gronk misses so much time. Don’t get me wrong - Gronk, when healthy, is the superior tight end. But if I’m picking a tight end to have for the next five years, I’m picking Kelce because is more likely to be available than Gronk.
