Update: Not cut yet. The Dolphins are reportedly looking at trade options now.
Branden Albert will become a free agent again under very different circumstances. The Miami Dolphins plan to cut Albert, according a report from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Dolphins will be releasing LT Branden Albert today, source says. It's Tunsil time there. Adds an intriguing option to the tackle market.

It feels longer than three years ago that Albert was a Chief. Andy Reid came to town and many folks expected them to trade Albert. That trade never went through, he stayed in Kansas City for a year under the franchise tag and the Chiefs let him walk the following year where he secured a five-year, $47 million deal from the Dolphins.
Now, if (when) the Dolphins cut him, he’ll be a free agent again.
