I was digging through some of our older Super Bowl posts and I came across this good one. Two years ago, Tostitos ran a Super Bowl commercial which mentioned the Seahawks as the loudest fans in the NFL. This was a couple months after the Chiefs had set a Guinness Book of World Record for crowd noise to be claimed the NFL’s loudest fans.
So a Chiefs fan emails Tostitos to complain about them saying Seattle has the loudest fans. Tostitos actually responded - I was surprised they did - and said they removed the Seahawks commercial from their social media channels and will stop running it.
It’s hilarious that A) a Chiefs fan cared so much about it to email Tostitos and B) that Tostitos actually took action and stopped running it.
