The Kansas City Chiefs will be seeing the debut of CB Darrelle Revis today against the New York Jets. The Chiefs signed Revis more than a week ago but he wasn’t ready to play the Bills last week. He has yet to play in a game this season so far.
Revis will play on Sunday against the Jets but he may not start, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
#Chiefs CB Darrelle Revis will make his re-debut today against the #Jets. He may not technically start, but he'll play. In practice, he rotated in with the other CBs.

I guessed he would max out at playing half the snaps. As Rapoport said, he was rotating in with other corners during practice so that’s probably their plan during the game to rotate.
I do think the Chiefs expect him to become the full time starter at some point. Is that this week or next week or the week after? I’m not sure yet but Andy Reid already said publicly they expect him to become a starter.
“I would think his role would be to step in and be a starter,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said last week when the Chiefs signed Revis. “That’s how I would like it.”
