Is this a must-win for the Chiefs?
Welcome to game day! I’m not sure if Kansas City Chiefs fans are excited about that or not considering the Chiefs current skid losing five of their last six games. The Chiefs are 6-5 after starting the season 5-0. They prepare to face a New York Jets team that has been, frankly, better than we thought at 4-7 this season.
The Chiefs have losses to the Bills and Giants in the past two weeks so there’s no way you can say they’re above losing this game to the Jets. They easily could, especially on the road.

The Chiefs, however, have never had a longer skid than the one they’re on now. 1-5 marks the same record they started out with in the 2015 season before ripping off 10 consecutive wins. I’m not saying the Chiefs are going to do that and go off and win the Super Bowl but they can’t be this bad. I refuse to believe it’s this bad.
The Jets are the 20th ranked offense and the 16th ranked defense. They’re the definition of average (or even below average). If the Chiefs think they’re a playoff team, they win this game. If they’re not — which I still find hard to believe — they lose this game. This one should tell us a lot about the Chiefs.
