Welcome to gameday! The Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the Miami Dolphins in Week 16 for the right to win the AFC West. If the Chiefs beat the Dolphins, they will clinch the AFC West title and a spot in the playoffs. The Chiefs are huge favorites — 10.5 points — so they have all the motivation they need to beat the Dolphins.
I woke up to snow in Kansas City so the weather could be a thing. Here’s what KMBC says — it’s staying cold.
The Chiefs are the better team here, on offense and defense. I see them getting out to a big lead and then sitting on it in true Andy Reid fashion. It would have to be a meltdown for the Chiefs to lose to Jay Cutler (like the way they melted down when he came as a Bear a couple years ago and won in the final seconds).
The Chiefs are likely looking at the No. 4 seed in the AFC playoff picture. That means they would host a game on the first weekend of the playoffs (Wild Card weekend). Their most likely opponent at this point is the Ravens. Other options are the Titans or Bills.
