Two Kansas City Chiefs players were out sick on Wednesday and so I joked that this better not be the super flu that takes the entire starting offense out.
I’m not sure if this is a super flu but it has taken out a member of the defense. Justin Houston joined Travis Kelce in missing Thursday’s Chiefs practice with an illness. Eric Fisher returned to practice Thursday after missing the day before with an illness.
Add #Chiefs LB Justin Houston to the list of sick players, won't practice today. Travis Kelce still out sick but Eric Fisher back. KPL hopes to go today.

I’m not sure what they’re sick with but you hope it doesn’t continue to spread, if that’s what this is. The flu or common colds don’t usually keep NFL players out of a game but it can affect their endurance or hydration.
Here’s to hoping the Chiefs start feeling better.
