Chiefs are still without Dee Ford

Remember the name Dee Ford? Pete mentioned him during this week’s Arrowhead Pride podcast and I honestly had forgotten about him on the team. That’s because he’s been injured this season and hasn’t made an impact.

Ford played the first three games, missed two games, came back for three games and has since missed the last four weeks. He has two sacks in six games this season. He has been a non-factor all season long and the fact that I, a Chiefs blogger, had forgotten about him says a lot.

The Chiefs are rolling with Frank Zombo and Tamba Hali in his place. The Chiefs could always use more pass rush but I’m not sure how much they’re missing Dee Ford right now. He hasn’t been a factor all season.

The Chiefs haven’t put Ford on IR yet so I assume that means they expect him back at some point this season. When he does, we’ll see if he can make an impact this year.
