I said the other day that it was not right to call out Travis Kelce’s effort because he is one of the players that I know cares and he has been one of the few players that has been consistently productive for the Chiefs this season.
That includes not only as a tight end but also as a receiver coming out of the slot. ESPN’s NFL Matchup show shows the players with the most yards lined up in the slot this season.

Third in the NFL is pretty damn good. I don’t see any other tight ends on that list. Kelce has 777 yards receiving this season so well more than half of his yards have come from the slot.
So, I guess it would be more accurate to call Kelce a slot receiver?
