A day after being named the AFC special teams player of the week the NFL has announced a bigger honor for KC Chiefs rookie kicker Harrison Butker.
AFC special teams player of the MONTH. His 18 field goals were the most by a rookie in any month in NFL history.

Butker missed his first field goal attempt as a Chief at the beginning of the month and then rattled off 18 field goals in a row and 11 extra points.
We talked about this yesterday when he was named player of the week but what a find by the Chiefs. Cairo Santos went down and I immediately envisioned the Chiefs missing a potential game winning field goal in the playoffs and crushing our hopes.
Instead I have become very comfortable with Butker. Not only does he have a fun name but he’s reliable and consistent. Keep it going.
