The Kansas City Chiefs have lost two games this season — a Week 6 Sunday game against the Steelers and a Week 7 Thursday game against the Raiders. Both games were called by Tony Romo and would you guess who is calling the game this weekend?
Yup.
Clearly, Romo is the problem here and not the Chiefs only scoring 13 points to the Steelers or giving up 400 yards passing to the Raiders.
I kid, I kid ...
Romo is not the problem. In fact, I enjoy the Romo games because he adds a level of excitement to the broadcast. There’s something I like about how he sometimes talks over Jim Nantz or is talking too much. Since he was playing so recently it feels like his analysis means a little bit more.
It will be especially interesting this weekend because it’s a Cowboys game where he spent 13 years playing in Dallas. He was a Cowboy just last year so he has intimate knowledge of everything about them and I hope that comes out in the broadcast.
Here’s to ending Romo’s bad luck curse on the Chiefs.
