The Kansas City Chiefs saw the return of CB Steven Nelson a few weeks ago and I thought it would take the Chiefs a while to get him acclimated again. The Chiefs threw him right out there.
Nelson played 73 percent of the snaps (53/73) in Week 8 against the Broncos.
The #Broncos threw at Steven Nelson (53 snaps) six times and completed one for 29 yards (one pass breakup). Big addition for #Chiefs

The next week against the Cowboys he played in 96 percent of the snaps (64/67).
CB Steven Nelson allowed 5 receptions, 34 yards & 2 TDs on 8 targets vs. Cowboys — 111.5 QB rating. Per @PFF.

For a team that has benched one cornerback for another already this season, his return from injured reserve was a welcome one and he’s made an impact. I said he’s not going to be a savior that is going to change the Chiefs fortunes all at once but he’s going to help.
