Chiefs have reason to believe Travis Kelce will have a big day vs. Giants

This should be a good week for KC Chiefs TE Travis Kelce against the New York Giants. This will be a fun fantasy stat thrown around this week but Chiefs fans should have every reason to believe Kelce will be scoring a touchdown this weekend.

That’s because of this stat from Big Blue View’s by the numbers post:

10: That is how many consecutive games in which the Giants have allowed a touchdown pass to an opposing tight end. Per the Elias Sports Bureau, that is the longest such streak in NFL history.

Kelce is on his own hot streak. In the last two weeks, he has 14 catches on 19 targets for 206 yards and two touchdowns. What’s different about Kelce this year is he’s scoring more touchdowns. His previous career high was five touchdown in a season, which he did twice. Entering Week 11, he already has five touchdowns this season. A sixth would mark a new career high.

The Chiefs tend to win when Kelce plays well. In the last nine games where Kelce went over 100 yards, the Chiefs are 8-1.
