The Kansas City Chiefs are going to be favored in most if not all of their remaining games and that includes this week’s opponent, the 1-8 New York Giants. The Chiefs are monster favorites over the Giants as 11.5 points. The line opened up at 13.5 which is a monster line, especially for a road team.
The Chiefs should win. They’re the better team, have the better coach and the better quarterback. Everything says they should win. And yet, I know what our own MNChiefsfan means when he tweets this:
I have an utterly irrational fear that the Chiefs will somehow lose to this team.
Life as a Chiefs fan. It’s OK. I have the same fear but I’m sure most teams not named the Patriots do as well. The Chiefs, however, don’t lose to bad teams very often. I’ve said that before. They don’t lose to bad teams very often nor do they lose to bad quarterbacks very often. I’m not saying that it can’t happen but the odds are obviously against it.
