Chiefs’ Dee Ford, Albert Wilson don’t practice, Tamba Hali not listed on injury report

The Kansas City Chiefs first injury report for Dallas Cowboys week is now out. LB Tamba Hali is not listed on this report because I have yet to see anything from the league that he has been formally taken off the PUP list. I know it’s been reported he would be coming off the PUP ... it was also reported he would practice and he didn’t do that today. So we’re still in limbo there.

For everyone else, the big name here is Dee Ford. This is definitely concerning that he’s back on this list with a back injury. We will be monitoring this one as the week (and season) goes along.

Albert Wilson also didn’t practice. He was injured a couple weeks ago, came back last week and then left the game early. You always worry about those recurring hamstring injuries that don’t really go away so hopefully that’s not one of these things and he can come back. He’s an important part of the Chiefs offense (yes, really).

Justin Houston is on the injury report but we’re hoping that’s a veterans day off for a guy who was on the injury report last week. Any time you see Justin Houston and “knee”, you are concerned. He played last week and played very well after being on the injury report so that’s the optimistic view.

The good news is that G Laurent Duvernay-Tardif is a full participant in practice. He was limited last week so if he’s following the same path at Mitch Morse we could be seeing LDT this weekend in Dallas.

Here is everyone else for Wednesday...

LB Dee Ford

WR Albert Wilson

Limited practice

TE Demetrius Harris

LB Justin Houston

Full practice

G Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

G Bryan Witzmann
