The best quarterback in the NFL plays in Kansas City and I’m only kinda kidding when I say that. Alex Smith is lighting it up in the first half against the Houston Texans. Currently he is 14/18 for 157 yards and a touchdown.
The Texans are selling out to stop Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt and they’re doing a really good job of it as Hunt isn’t doing much. However, Alex Smith is. He’s on an incredible run of third downs converting on 6, 7, 11, 14 and 11 to go on third down.
This play, though. Watch this play and tell me that doesn’t remind you of Aaron Rodgers.
