The Kansas City Chiefs played Cam Erving at right guard in Laurent Duvernay-Tardi’f absence. Now that’s changing as the Chiefs say that reserve lineman Zach Fulton will start at right guard, not Erving.
Chiefs list Zach Fulton as starting at RG. Not surprised at all to see him slide over from center with Morse back.

Fulton wasn’t playing right guard previously because he was busy filling in at center for the injured Mitch Morse. Now that Morse is playing, Fulton slides over to right guard.
The Chiefs had been playing Cam Erving there during LDT’s absence but Erving has some work to do. He has some potential as a former first round pick but he wasn’t ready to be the Chiefs starting guard.
As the sixth lineman, Fulton is showing his value. I don’t know how many teams have a guy like Fulton who can play every spot on the line but it’s been very important for KC this year who have dealt with two starters injured on the line.
This is a good move by the Chiefs.
