CJ Spiller cut by the Chiefs, again

The Kansas City Chiefs cut CJ Spiller. Again. This is the fourth time he’s been released.

At least he actually played this time around. He was in for 12 snaps against the Raiders. Either the Chiefs didn’t like what they saw or they already decided he was going to fill in that week only. I don’t remember a player getting released and signed as often as the Chiefs have with Spiller.

The move probably becomes because Charcandrick West is presumably getting healthy. At least that’s the hope after he missed last week’s game with a concussion.

As long as the Chiefs have Kareem Hunt, they’ll be OK. However, I worry about them using him too much so that’s something they’ll need to monitor and something they’ll need another back for.
