Andy Reid in year four of his contract, Chiefs will try to extend him

The Kansas City Chiefs reportedly want to extend Andy Reid’s contract. This according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Reid is reportedly in year four of a five-year deal.

Not surprising news in the least. We know Chiefs owner Clark Hunt is a big fan of Andy Reid and John Dorsey. I asked Clark about Reid’s contract in camp this year and he said he wants Reid back. Never doubted this.

The Dorsey news is something else. There’s a lot going on there. But for Big Red, it sounds like the talks will happen, which is great news for the Chiefs. He’s one of the best coaches in the NFL.
