NFL Wild Card TV schedule for Saturday: Raiders-Texans, Lions-Seahawks

Welcome to game day! The Kansas City Chiefs do not play today because they are so good (is what I would say to a Raiders or Broncos fan today). The Chiefs are off until they host someone else at Arrowhead next week. The NFL playoff schedule continues on Wild Card weekend without them.

We do have two games today - Raiders-Texans and Lions-Seahawks.

Sunday’s football schedule will be Dolphins-Steelers and Giants-Packers. If the Steelers win, the Chiefs will host Pittsburgh next Sunday (see full NFL playoff schedule below). If the Dolphins win, the Chiefs will host the winner of Raiders-Texans. Go Dolphins!

The Raiders will visit the Texans on ESPN / ABC for the worst playoff game of all time. Is that fair to say, the worst of all time? It’ll be Connor Cook’s first start for the Raiders and Brock Osweiler, who was benched for Tom Savage (?) a few weeks ago. Derek Carr’s injury really sucks for the Raiders. They would’ve won this game with him as they did earlier this season. The Texans are favored in this game by 3.5 points. I don’t know how the Raiders will score. I would take Houston by more than that.

The second Wild Card game is Matt Stafford and the Detroit Lions against Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are 8-point favorites which feels a little high for a good Lions team. I know this game is in Seattle but I think Detroit can keep it within a touchdown. Even in a night game at Seattle. That game will be on NBC.
