KC Chiefs GM John Dorsey saw some high praise from new Colts GM Chris Ballard. At the presser announcing him as the Colts new GM, Ballard talked about a few of his biggest influences in his career and he mentioned this:
Chris Ballard said during his presser that John Dorsey might have the best eye for talent in the NFL.

Colts owner Jim Irsay had similar high praise for Ballard with this quote:
“I was thinking about this and I think I can say it with some expertise and some wisdom...I really feel Chris is the best candidate for general manager that has come about so far in the 21st century,” Irsay said of a more than 15-year time frame.
So, yeah. It sounds like the Chiefs lost a really, really good personnel man to the Colts. Good for him. As long as GM John Dorsey sticks around and that scouting pipeline is filled, I think the Chiefs will be alright. Ballard’s exit does feel like a safety net has been pulled out from underneath us.
