We have a Super Bowl! The Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots will meet for the right to be named the Super Bowl 51 champion. The game will be played in Houston at NRG Stadium, home of the Houston Texans. Fox will broadcast the game on Sunday, February 5 at 6:30 p.m. (ET). Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Erin Andrews (sideline) will call the game. It can be streamed on the Fox Sports GO app.
The Patriots are three-point favorites over the Falcons. This should be a great game. The Falcons have one of the best offenses in the NFL, probably the best in all of the NFL. Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and the rest of the Falcons offense showed that on Sunday putting up 44 on the Packers in the NFC Championship game.
The Patriots, meanwhile, were efficient against the Steelers in the AFC Championship game with a 36-17 win. The Patriots don’t have the weapons offensively that the Falcons do but they do have a better defense. The Patriots were first in points allowed and third in points scored. They’re balanced. Oh, and that Tom Brady guy is OK, I guess.
