NFL playoff schedule 2017: Chiefs await Steelers, Raiders or Texans

The 2017 NFL playoff schedule is set with the Wild Card weekend all set and the NFL Divisional round awaiting the winners from the first weekend. The Chiefs will play on Divisional weekend - Sunday, January 15 at 1:05 pm ET.

Who will the Chiefs play? If the Steelers beat the Dolphins they will play the Steelers. Pittsburgh is favored and with Miami potentially using backup QB Matt Moore again the Steelers the pick to win.

If the Dolphins win, the Chiefs would play the winner of the Texans and Raiders, both of whom are dealing with backup quarterbacks. I can’t see the Raiders scoring on a good Texans defense with a backup quarterback, especially if they put up just six points on the Broncos last weekend.

The formula on who plays who in the Divisional round is that the Chiefs will play the highest seed and the Patriots will play the lowest seed. That means the Steelers as the 3 seed would be guaranteed to come to Arrowhead if they win.
